Betting & Casino Glossary
New to online betting? These are the key terms every pg303 player should understand before placing their first wager.
RTP (Return to Player)
The percentage of total wagered money a slot or casino game returns to players over a statistically significant number of rounds. An RTP of 96.5% means the game returns Rp 96.500 for every Rp 100.000 wagered on average — the remaining 3.5% is the house edge.
House Edge
The mathematical advantage the casino holds on every bet. Expressed as a percentage, it represents the average profit the platform makes per unit wagered over the long run. Lower house edge means better value for the player.
Wager / Stake
The amount of money you place on a single bet or spin. "Stake" and "wager" are interchangeable terms. Responsible players keep individual stakes within 1–5% of their session bankroll.
Odds
The ratio at which a sportsbook pays out on
a winning bet. Decimal odds of 2.50 mean a Rp 100.000 bet returns Rp 250.000 total (Rp 150.000 profit). pg303 displays odds in decimal format by default, which is standard across Asian and European sportsbooks.
Spread / Asian Handicap
A handicap applied to a match to level the playing field between a strong favourite and a weaker underdog. Known locally as voor bola, Asian Handicap eliminates the draw outcome and offers more balanced odds on both sides of a football match.
Parlay / Accumulator
A single bet combining multiple selections. All selections must win for the bet to pay out. Known locally as mix parlay, accumulators offer significantly higher potential returns but carry proportionally higher risk as every leg must be correct.
Live Bet (In-Play Betting)
A bet placed on a match or event that is already in progress. Odds update in real time based on the current score and game state. Live betting is available on all major football fixtures at pg303, including BRI Liga 1 and Champions League matches.
Cash Out
A feature that allows you to settle a bet before the event concludes, locking in a partial profit or cutting a potential loss. The cash-out value is calculated in real time based on current odds and your original stake.
Bankroll
The total amount of money you have set aside specifically for gambling. Managing your bankroll responsibly — through session limits, stake sizing, and stop-loss rules — is the foundation of sustainable play.
Volatility
In slots, volatility (also called variance) describes how frequently a game pays out and in what amounts. Low volatility slots pay smaller amounts more often; high volatility slots pay larger amounts less frequently. Neither is inherently better — choose based on your session budget and risk appetite.
Free Spin
A bonus round in slot games where you spin the reels at no additional cost to your balance. Free spins may be awarded as part of a welcome bonus, a reload promotion, or triggered organically by landing scatter symbols during gameplay.
Wagering Requirement
The number of times you must bet your bonus amount before it can be withdrawn as real cash. A Rp 200.000 bonus with a 10× wagering requirement means you need to wager a total of Rp 2.000.000 before the bonus converts to withdrawable funds.
